At the conclusion of an inquiry, Jockey Y Aify, the rider of ETERNAL FORTUNE, pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under MRA Rule 44(9)(a)(ii) in that whilst riding ETERNAL FORTUNE, he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to EL CHUBASCO at the 1100M.
In assessing the penalty, the Stewards took into consideration Jockey Y Aify’s guilty plea, mitigating factors, previous riding record and his submissions on penalty. He was suspended from riding in races for a period of two (2) Malaysian race days with effect from 9 February 2026 and to expire on 15 February 2026, both dates inclusive. He was advised of his Right of Appeal.
App T Ammar who rode his 40th winner on BANKER’S EMPIRE in this race, would only be entitled to claim 2kgs allowance as from Monday, 9 February 2026.

In assessing the penalty, the Stewards took into consideration Jockey SU Lim’s guilty plea, mitigating factors, previous riding record and his submissions on penalty. He was suspended from riding in races for a period of one (1) Malaysian race day with effect from 9 February 2026 and to expire on 14 February 2026, both dates inclusive. In lieu of one (1) Malaysian race day, he was also fined RM1,500/–. He was advised of his Right of Appeal.
