3	BANKER’S CHAMPION (R Nuqman)	Broke down at the 600M, fell and dislodged Jockey who was examined by the Club Medical Officer and subsequently sent to hospital for further observation. Vet inspection: Fractured near hind hock – Euthanized.

RACE 4 (R0108) OPEN MAIDEN – 1500M (LC A)

VISIT M’SIA – PERAK – TELUK INTAN LEANING TOWER STAKES

1	BANKER’S EMPIRE (App T Ammar)	Raced wide throughout. Shifted in away from the whip at the 250M.
2	BANKER’S GOOD (App G Farhan)	Jumped awkwardly.
3	CHECKMATE (KC Wong)	Bumped shortly after the start. Shifted in away from the whip in the straight.
5	AURISH STAR (SU Lim)	Took a number of awkward strides during running and ducked in the straight. Shifted in away from the whip at the 400M. In view of this report, a veterinary examination was requested. Vet inspection: No significant finding.
6	ETERNAL FORTUNE (Y Aify)	Shifted in at the 1300M. Jockey reported that his horse hung out on the turn which resulted in him racing wide in the straight. Jockey cautioned to take strong corrective measure to avoid covering unnecessary ground.*(See Report)
7	SHENG ZHE (App I Fikri)	Bumped shortly after the start. Trainer T Mahadi was fined RM250/- for negligence under MRA Rule 152(5)(a) for presenting the gelding which was improperly bandaged.
8	COMEBACK (M Akmazani)	Restless in the gates.
10	PACIFIC PARADISE (O Chavez)	Slow into stride.
11	RED SKY (App J Ikram)	Fly-jumped at the start. Slow to begin.

13	EL CHUBASCO (S Ruzaini)	Eased at the 1300M. Hung out in the concluding stages.

At the conclusion of an inquiry, Jockey Y Aify, the rider of ETERNAL FORTUNE, pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under MRA Rule 44(9)(a)(ii) in that whilst riding ETERNAL FORTUNE, he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to EL CHUBASCO at the 1100M.

In assessing the penalty, the Stewards took into consideration Jockey Y Aify’s guilty plea, mitigating factors, previous riding record and his submissions on penalty. He was suspended from riding in races for a period of two (2) Malaysian race days with effect from 9 February 2026 and to expire on 15 February 2026, both dates inclusive. He was advised of his Right of Appeal.

App T Ammar who rode his 40^th winner on BANKER’S EMPIRE in this race, would only be entitled to claim 2kgs allowance as from Monday, 9 February 2026.

5	LIGHTNING GAL (KA Brewer)	Awkwardly placed and carried in at the 1100M. Carried in at the 200M, thereafter shifted in to obtain clear running.
6	ETERNAL ROMANCE (Y Aify)	A review into an incident at the 1100M will be held at a date to be fixed.
7	SECRET BAOBEI (M Lukman)	Raced wide throughout. Shifted in away from the whip from the 300M to the 200M. Trainer WC Lim was fined RM100/- under MRA Rule 65(5)(c) for failing to produce the declared colours on the gelding.
8	CONGAREE (SU Lim)	The front gate opened early resulting in the gelding breaking through the gate and being restrained shortly after. Thereafter, checked by the Vet and passed fit to race. Raced wide throughout.

At the conclusion of an inquiry, Jockey SU Lim, the rider of GENRICH, pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under MRA Rule 44(9)(a)(ii) in that whilst riding GENRICH, he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to RHYTHM OF ZEN and DIGGING EIGHT at the 1000M.

In assessing the penalty, the Stewards took into consideration Jockey SU Lim’s guilty plea, mitigating factors, previous riding record and his submissions on penalty. He was suspended from riding in races for a period of one (1) Malaysian race day with effect from 9 February 2026 and to expire on 14 February 2026, both dates inclusive. In lieu of one (1) Malaysian race day, he was also fined RM1,500/–. He was advised of his Right of Appeal.
