25 June 25

Racing fans are in for a treat this Sunday, 29 June, at the Selangor Turf Club as two accomplished Thai jockeys—Theerasak Khankhwa (racing under the name Vitsanukorn) and Matwirun Yimyaem (known on the track as Wanmongkol)—make a special one-day appearance.
Vitsanukorn, a seasoned rider with a commanding presence on the Thai racing circuit, is renowned for his tactical riding and consistent performances. With multiple victories across Thailand’s premier racecourses, he’s respected for his calm demeanor under pressure and race-day precision. On Sunday, Vitsanukorn will team up with Gamestonks, trained by Charles Leck, in the UK STABLE (THAILAND) TROPHY, and ride Kanthaka for trainer HY Cheng in the UK STABLE (THAILAND) STAKE.

Wanmongkol, fresh off his appearance at the prestigious China–Thailand Friendship U.K. Trade Cup at Yulong International Racecourse, brings an international edge to the field. Beyond his sharp skills in the saddle, his recent overseas representation underscored his growing profile as a Thai racing ambassador. He’ll be taking the reins on Renzo, trained by S. Hamilton, in the UK STABLE (THAILAND) TROPHY, and Tornado Pegasus, trained by K. Ananthen, in the UK STABLE (THAILAND) STAKE.
Their one-day visit is set to inject international flair and friendly competition into the weekend’s events. With their experience and hunger for success, these guest jockeys promise a memorable afternoon of racing action.
Don’t miss this exciting showcase of cross-border camaraderie—only at Selangor Turf Club this Sunday!
