Trainer Frank Maynard’s top galloper, Skydance Eclipse, should poise for another resounding win in Class 2 event 1400m in Race 10 at Selangor Turf Club Sunday. The four-year-old by Foxwedge who has been a model of consistency with wins, once again displayed a tip top performance last outing with Jockey KC Wong astride to demolish the rivals with an easy victory in Class 3 event over 1400m in May this year. Up a class this time, Skydance Eclipse with Jockey KC Wong on board looks the best bet of the afternoon.
Trainer Shane Edwards Miss En Garde is well prepared for a win in a Class 4 (A) event over 1200m in Race 7. The nice looking five-year-old mare by Dream Ahead showed up very well last outing when finished a creditable fourth to El Tordillo at this course last week. Visiting Brazilian Jockey Bernando Pinheiro once again given to ride Miss En Grade and the pair should re-enter the winning circle.
Charles Leck trained Nova Spirit is back in form and stands out very well to win in Class 5 (A) over 1700m in Race 11. The six-year-old by Congrats flashed home a commendable third to Encosta Zone over 1600m at this course last week. Going over a slightly longer trip, Nova Spirit with Jockey S. Ruzaini astride, should greet the judges this time out.
