The Final Race Day for the current  season for Selangor Turf Club ends this Sunday with a card of 13 races giving punters a wide choice of horses to bet.

The best bet of the day will be Tan Soon Beng’s Ateej (No. 8)  should once again demolished his rivals in a Class 3 event over 1400m in Race 7. Last outing, the four-year-old by Equal Stripes with jockey Oscar Chavez astride, came with a pulverising run at the closing stages of the race to beat fast finishing Baadshah in a convincing manner. Ateej has been prepared very well and once again Chavez has been nominated for another resounding victory. Do not rule out the chances of The Dodger and Lim’s Casino both are in tip top condition and could possible deny Ateej his fourth win in a row.
Trainer Charles Leck’s French Vintage (No. 9) will be the punters’ choice in a Class 4 (B) event over 1400m in Race 9. Last outing, the seven-year-old by Roc De Cambas with regular rider in Apprentice A. Suriya on board came with a great effort to beat fast finishing Mystical Star last week in a Class 5 (A) event over 1400m. Up a class and once again Apprentice Suriya teams up with French Vintage and should give a bold showing for a back to back win.
Trainer Wayne Lim’s Nova Warrior is worth a wager in a Class 4 (A) event over 1400m in Race 10. The seven-year-old by Bachelor Duke showed a return to form last outing when flashed home a good third to Danzeb in a Class 4 (B) event over 1200m last week at this course. With the extra 200m might just do the trick.
