The New Zealand mare had her first race since the break and could not keep up with the pace in a 1100m sprint here last month.

But the six-year-old quickly found her backers again when she was sent out the even-money favourite in the Class 3 – 1400m handicap at Sungei Besi here today.

Jackson Low, who had partnered the mare in her last victory here in May, was back in the saddle and the pair carved out a comfortable 1 3/4-length win.

STREETS OF FIRE was unplaced in two runs at Kranji before moving to Malaysia where she has picked up five wins in 12 starts.
