Trainer KC Tiang was RM250/- and RM500/- under MRA Rule 35(1) for presenting PACIFIC ARMANI without tongue-tie as declared and for presenting STARDICE without cross-nose band and special bit as declared, respectively.

At the conclusion of an inquiry, Jockey S Ruzaini, the rider of BILLY ELLIOT, pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under MRA Rule 44(9)(a)(ii) in that he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to TOPMOST (CK Khaw) at approximately the 800M.
In assessing the penalty, the Stewards took into consideration Jockey S Ruzaini’s guilty plea, mitigating factors, previous riding record and his submissions on penalty. He was suspended from riding in races for a period of one (1) Malaysian race day with effect from 14 October 2024 and to expire on 19 October 2024, both dates inclusive. In lieu of three (3) Malaysian race days, he was also fined RM6,000/-. He was advised of his Right of Appeal.

At the conclusion of an inquiry, App I Fikri, the rider of BURAAQ SIXTY-ONE, in the presence of his Employing Trainer, L Moy, pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under MRA Rule 44(9)(a)(ii) in that he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to ELECTRONIC BOOM (SU Lim) at approximately the 1000M.
In assessing the penalty, the Stewards took into consideration App I Fikri’s guilty plea, mitigating factors, previous riding record and his submissions on penalty. He was suspended from riding in races for a period of one (1) Malaysian race day with effect from 14 October 2024 and to expire on 26 October 2024, both dates inclusive. In lieu of one (1) Malaysian race day, he was also fined RM1,000/-. He was advised of his Right of Appeal.

In the concluding stages, FIRST BOWL which was hanging in, was carried out by SUPER POSH which shifted out.
A race review was called into this incident, which was followed by an objection being lodged by Trainer L Moy, the Trainer of the second placed horse, FIRST BOWL (L De Souza), against the winner, SUPER POSH (S Ruzaini), on the grounds of interference and intimidation in the concluding stages.
After considering the evidence in this matter, the Board overruled the objection and allowed the judge’s result to stand. As from the footage, the Board could not be satisfied that but for the above incident, FIRST BOWL would have finished ahead of SUPER POSH, therefore it overruled the objection and allowed the Judge’s result to stand.
