(App A Nazir) Shifted in near the 800M. Rider got his whip entangled with the reins at the 300M. Apprentice referred for remedial retraining.

(MM Firdaus) Veered outwards quickly at the 1000M when checked, inconveniencing runner.

(SU Lim) Inconvenienced and carried wide near the 950M.
When questioned regarding the apparent poor performance of TERMS OF REFERENCE, Trainer S Hamilton advised that she had substituted the visor for the customary blinkers which the gelding had used. Her instructions to the rider were that from an inside barrier, to attempt to go forward. She was surprised TERMS OF REFERENCE was able to lead so easily and believed the change in equipment was the sole reason as it had worked particularly well during the week in the visor. She further stated that in future, she would instruct TERMS OF REFERENCE to be ridden in a lead or forward manner.

Jockey MM Firdaus was examined by the Club Doctor who subsequently stood him down from his riding engagements for the remainder of the races today.

1 SUSPCIOUS MIND
(J Low) Jumped a section of the track at the 125M, became unbalanced with the rider losing his right stirrup iron.

(SU Lim) Tightened at the start.
4 TOP GUN
(App A Suriya) Tightened shortly after the start, losing ground. Raced fiercely in the early stages and was taken wide. Breast-check broke during running.

(V Espindola) Steadied near the 750M when crowded slightly.

(App I Fikri) Veered inwards on jumping, crowding runners.

(App KH Chong) Bumped near the 200M and shifted in when crowded slightly.

(KC Tham) Raced wide in the middle stages, taking the turn into the straight wide.

(SU Lim) Became unbalanced and lost his hind leg action near the 1100M.
7 BUDDY SIXTY-ONE
(S Ruzaini) Shifted in near the 225M, bumping runner and rolled in, crowding runner.
8 IRONCLAD
(CK Khaw) Slow into stride. Tended to drift out, then tightened near the 300M and again passing the 200M, being restrained.

3 ATTENTION
(L De Souza) Crowded and bumped inwards passing the 200M.

(App I Fikri) Laid in considerably from the 250M with rider having to straighten on several occasions, crowded runner at the 175M and then was bumped heavily, unbalancing rider in the final two (2) strides.

(App R Nuqman) Slow into stride.

(HS Gill) Held up for a clear run near the 300M and then crowded from the inside passing the 150M having to be steadied.

(M Ewe) Slow into stride, drifted in near the 350M. Drifted out near the 250M, tightening runner and veered outwards quickly over the final stages, bumping runner. Rider advised that is expected to have greater control over his mounts.
