RACE 1 (R0032) CLASS 5(A) – 1000m (sc)
Trainer P Lee was fined a total of RM1,500/- for scratching SIEW YUK (K62) , THAI BAHT (C505) and CHAR KWAY TEOW (E528) without an official veterinary certificates under Clause 3.09 of the Perak Turf Club Official Programme.
JERAM GOLD and HARVEYWALLBANGER both are course scratching. JERAM GOLD and HARVEYWALLBANGER had both sustained a bruised chest. Each will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.
SPEEDY DEMON was humanely euthanized due to injuries sustained during an accident which occurred while the horse was being transported to PRTC to race.
JAPAN CAPTAIN (App SN Shiva) over-raced in the early and middle stages.

RACE 2 (R0033) CLASS 5 (A) – 1200m (sc)
Trainer P Lee was fined a total of RM500/- for scratching TILSWORTH MALI (W326), without an official veterinary certificate under Clause 3.09 of the Perak Turf Club Official Programme.
DESIRE SKY was humanely euthanized due to injuries sustained during an accident which occurred while the horse was being transported to PRTC to race.
LEESTOWN EXPRESS (KC Tham) and ADIRA PEGASUS (App A Azizi) were slow into stride.
ROCK ME EASY (S Salee) was pulling hard in the early and middle stages.
LEESTOWN EXPRESS and BITCOIN KING (J Daniel) were obliged to race wide on the turn.
Post-race veterinary examinations of LEESTOWN EXPRESS and BITCOIN KING revealed that both these horses returned having bled. Each will be barred from racing for a period of three (3) months under MRA Rule 92(3)(a)&(b) and thereafter, will each be required to pass a bleeder’s test before being declared to race again.
Trainer K Coetzee was questioned with regards to the improved performance of USA CAPTAIN (App SN Shiva) today. He explained that the mare does not act on a yielding and soft track and appreciated the going today. His explanations were noted.

RACE 3 (R0034) CLASS 4 (A) – 1200m (sc)
NAGAS KING and LUCKY STAR, both are course scratching. NAGAS KING had sustained bruised off fore fetlock whilst LUCKY STAR had sustained swollen off fore cannon. Each will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.
ZAC ACE (S Ruzaini) had a tendency to lay in, in the later stages. Thereafter, the breast-check broke during the running. Jockey S Ruzaini, the rider of ZAC ACE was warned that he must ensure that his equipment is in good conditions, failing which a penalty may be imposed on him.
Jockey AK Lim, the rider of GENERAL NIX reported that his mount was not striding out freely. A post-race veterinary examination of GENERAL NIX revealed no obvious abnormality.
The Club Veterinary Surgeon reported that ZHU CAPTAIN (App SN Shiva) had bled and as such, the gelding will be barred from racing for a period of three (3) months under MRA Rule 92(3)(a)&(b) and thereafter, will be required to pass a bleeder’s test before being declared to race again.

RACE 4 (R0035) CLASS 5 (A) - 1400m (sc)
INTROIT and CIRCUIT STAR, both are course scratching. INTROIT had sustained sore back whilst CIRCUIT STAR had sustained a bruised near fore sole. Each will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.
MAGICAL PARK which was up 30kgs in body weight since its last run, was checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon and was passed fit to start.
Due to a miscommunication between Trainer Bonny Ng and Jockey S Hafis, the Panel of Stewards permitted Jockey AK Lim to replace the latter as the rider of MYSTICAL STAR.
MYSTICAL STAR (AK Lim) was examined by the Club Veterinary Surgeon behind the barriers and was passed fit to start.
LEEDSTHEWAY (KC Tham) was pulling hard and had to be steadied in the early stages.
Passing the 200M-mark, BIG MONKEY (App N Shahronnizam) rolled inwards. App Shahronnizam was shown the video of this incident and was warned to make a greater attempt to keep his mount on a straight course in future.
A post-race veterinary examination of LEEDSTHEWAY revealed no obvious abnormality.
