RACE 1 (R312) CLASS 5(A) – 1200m (lc) SLIM HANDICAP
PEARL KING, a course scratching as it had sustained swollen near knee, will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.
Emergency acceptors TRIPLE ONE D’GREAT and GOLDEN ROOSTER were withdrawn due to a capacity field.
WISAKA which was up 18kgs in body weight since its last run, was checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and was passed fit to start.
After being loaded, WISAKA (R Rueven) which was fractious, became cast in the barrier and was taken out for veterinary examination. GOLDEN KINGDOM (J Low) cast its near fore plate behind the barriers and had to be re-shod.
LUCKY GIANT (AK Lim) and WISAKA were examined by the Club Veterinary Surgeon behind the barriers and were passed fit to start.
LUCKY GIANT was slow to begin.
The saddle on SUNTZU (AM Aizat) slipped back during the running of the race.
Racing to the 1000M, WISAKA (R Rueven) had to check when MIGHTY PHOENIX (App P Mogun) which was hanging in, steadied off the heels of LOUEY VELOCE (App WW Cheah) and shifted in. The Panel of Stewards noted that it is a racing incident and took no further action.
Prior to the ‘All Clear’ being given, an objection was lodged by Jockey R Rueven, the rider of WISAKA, placed 4th against MIGHTY PHOENIX ridden by App P Mogun, placed 2nd on grounds of alleged interference at the 1000M.

RACE 2 (R313) CLASS 5(A) – 1200m (lc) SAYONG HANDICAP
Emergency acceptors MY FRIENDS, KRUGER and LUCKY ENOUGH were withdrawn due to a capacity field.
PROVOCATEUR which was up 21kgs in body weight since its last run, was checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and was passed fit to start.
Acting on veterinary advice that COMECATCHME (App P Haris) was lame near fore, the Panel of Stewards ordered its withdrawal at 1.46pm. The gelding will be required to pass a test (1000M/vet) before being declared to race again.
The saddle on MAHARIB (Y Aify) slipped back whilst the saddle on MR ROCKWELL (App Azizi) slipped to its off side during the running of the race.
The Panel of Stewards inquired into the mix-up of saddles taken from the Scales involving horses COMECATCHME (App P Haris) and MR ROCKWELL (App A Azizi), resulting in both riders having to be re-weighed out. After hearing their explanations, the Panel of Stewards deemed that there was no malicious intent and no further action was taken.
The Club Veterinary Surgeon reported that FLYING SHADOW (SU Lim) returned having cast its near hind plate.

RACE 3 (R314) CLASS 5(B) – 1200m (lc) BELUM HANDICAP
Trainer KF Wong was fine RM150/- and will be required to pay the full entry fees under Clause3.1.4 of the Perak Turf Club Official Programme April Race Meeting 2021 for scratching DANE’S ANATOMY (N573) without a Veterinary Certificate.

PARTY GIRL, a course scratching as it had sustained bruised off fore sole, will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.
Emergency acceptor QUEEN FORCE was withdrawn due to capacity field.
The Panel of Stewards permitted Jockey HS Gill to ride CHERISH, an emergency acceptor.

CHERISH (HS Gill) was slow into stride.
TOP TURF (AM Aizat) dipped on jumping away.
INDOMITABLE SPEED (App P Haris) had to steady shortly after the start, to avoid the heels of TOP TURF.
Jockey AM Aizat, the rider of TOP TURF reported that his whip was accidentally struck off from his hand by Jockey L De Souza, the rider of GOLDEN STATES at about the 200M.
App I Firdzriel and Jockey HS Gill, the rider of PENNSYLVANIA and CHERISH, both reported that their mount were not striding out freely. Post-race veterinary examinations of PENNSYLVANIA and CHERISH revealed no obvious abnormality.

A post-race veterinary examination of TILSWORTH MALI (M Ganeesh) revealed that the mare had returned with a cut to its right hip and as such, will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.

RACE 5 (R316) CLASS 5(A) - 1800M(sc) KOTA SETIA HANDICAP
GOLD COMPANY which was down 15kgs in body weight since its last run, was checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and was passed fit to start.
Trainer S Siva was fined RM100/- under MRA Rule 65(5)(c ) for failing to produce the declared colours on JJ STAR.
Jockey HS Gill and Jockey AM Aizat, the rider of SING EXPRESS and GOLD COMPANY, both reported that their mounts were not striding out freely. Post-race veterinary examinations of SING EXPRESS and GOLD COMPANY revealed no obvious abnormality.

RACE 6 (R317) CLASS 5(B) – 1800m (sc) SELAMA HANDICAP
POLO MASTER (HS Gill) was examined by the Club Veterinary Surgeon behind the barriers and was passed fit to start.
Passing the 1600M, MAGICAL PARK (App S Hafis) shifted in and eased the pace, resulting in E SUPREME (J Chuah) having to be steadied to avoid the heels of MAGICAL PARK. As a consequence, GOLD COAST CAPTAIN (AK Lim) and POLO MASTER which were following, had to be steadied in this incident.
MAGICAL PARK brushed the running rails racing to the 1400M.
GRAND SHOW (R Rueven) had to steady passing the 900M to avoid the heels of JETSTAR EAGLE (CK Tan).

Jockey AK Lim, Jockey S Saddam & Jockey HS Gill, the riders of GOLD COAST CAPTAIN, GOLDEN EMPIRE and POLO MASTER respectively reported that their mounts were not striding out freely. Post-race veterinary examinations of GOLD COAST CAPTAIN, GOLDEN EMPIRE and POLO MASTER revealed no obvious abnormality.

RACE 7 (R318) CLASS 4(A) -1400m (sc) TEJA HANDICAP
Emergency acceptors D’GREAT COMMAND, KING POWER and WIN MAK MAK were withdrawn due to a capacity field.
MR DAVID (App P Haris) was slow to begin.
BIG DALLAS (C Goon) jumped away awkwardly and steadied shortly after the start when AYAAN (App A Azizi) shifted out.
PLACE YOUR BET (Z Khairil) raced wide from the 800M until entering the straight.
STAR INVINCIBLE (Y Aify) had to be steadied racing to the 150M when TIME TO ROCK (AM Aizat) rolled out.
TIME TO ROCK had to be steadied inside the 100M to avoid the heels of ALWAYS D’GREAT and shifted in for a clear running.
Post-race veterinary examinations of AYAAN revealed that the gelding had returned lame off fore, CROWN STAR (J Low) and MR DAVID revealed no obvious abnormality. AYAAN will be required to pass a test (1000M/vet) before being declared to race again.

RACE 8 (R319) CLASS 4(B) – 1400m (sc) RUNGKUP HANDICAP
DUTY FIRST, D’GREAT MAGIC, STAGESHOW and EASY SOUTH EAST all course scratching as they had sustained swollen near fore fetlock, sore back, bruised near fore sole and sore back respectively, will each be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.

The Panel of Stewards permitted Jockey AM Aizat to ride CHIPS, an emergency acceptor.
MISS MICHELLE (App I Firdzriel) turned its head to the right when the gates were released, jumped away very awkwardly and dislodged App I Firdzriel. He was exempted from weighing-in and was subsequently examined by the Club Medical Officer and passed fit to ride.

CHIPS (AM Aizat) jumped away awkwardly.
HAVANA (SU Lim) had to be steadied passing the 200M to avoid the heels of PURPLE RAIN LADY (S Saddam) which shifted in.
A post-race veterinary examination of MISS MICHELLE revealed no obvious abnormality.

RACE 9 (R320) CLASS 4(B) – 1400m (sc) TELUK BARU HANDICAP
Trainer R Lines was fine RM150/- and will be required to pay the full entry fees under Clause3.1.4 of the Perak Turf Club Official Programme April Race Meeting 2021 for scratching D’GREAT OCEAN (K161) without a Veterinary Certificate.
ROSES FOR ME, a course scratching as it had a sore back, will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.
Emergency acceptors STAR CHOICE and LION CONQUEROR were withdrawn due to capacity field.
BANGKOK BOY which was down 20kgs in body weight since its last run, was checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and was passed fit to start.
Trainer HY Cheng was fined RM100/- under MRA Rule 65(5)(c) for failing to produce the declared colours on GOLDEN NINETY TWO.
GOLDEN NINETY TWO (SU Lim) was examined by the Club Veterinary Surgeon behind the barriers and was passed fit to start.
IPOH DASH (App S Hafis) was slow to begin.
BANGKOK BOY (App P Haris) jumped away awkwardly and shortly after the start, had to check to avoid the heel of FAST AND SUPER (S Saddam).
FANTASTIC ECLIPSE (App I Firdzriel) laid out racing to the 1000M, taking ORDOS LEGEND (HS Gill) and BANGKOK BOY wider.
GOLDEN NINETY TWO had to be steadied racing to the 700M when CALVADOS (Z Khairil) rolled in.
Jockey SU Lim, the rider of GOLDEN NINETY TWO, reported that his mount was not striding out freely. Post-race veterinary examination of GOLDEN NINETY TWO revealed no obvious abnormality.
