At the conclusion of an inquiry, App Clyde Leck, the rider of WHITE PEACH (5th), in the presence of his Employing Trainer, C Leck, pleaded guilty to a charge under MRA Rule 44(6) for failing to ride to the end of the race over the final stages. He was fined RM1000/- and advised of his Right of Appeal.

(App I Fikri) Bumped outwards and had to be restrained from heels near the 1050M and raced wide until straightening.

(B Pinheiro) Bumped outwards at the start, losing ground. Shifted in passing the 200M causing runner to check. *(See Report)
At the conclusion of an inquiry, Jockey B Pinheiro (PERFECT) pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under MRA Rule 44(9)(a)(ii) in that he shifted in at this stage causing WATCH THE THRONE to check.
In assessing the penalty, the Stewards took into consideration Jockey B Pinheiro’s guilty plea, mitigating factors, previous riding record and his submissions on penalty. He was suspended from riding in races for a period of two (2) race days, to be deferred, on 4 June 2023 and 11 June 2023, both dates inclusive. He was advised of his Right of Appeal.

(C Grylls) Had to be restrained when crossed in the final strides.
2 WISUPONASTAR
(HS Gill) Bumped at the 75M. Horse on the outside attempted to savage it over the final stages.
5 RESOLUTE
(R Rueven) Shifted in, bumping runner at the 75M. The gelding then attempted to savage the horse on his inside. Trainer was advised to attempt to make remedial changes to the gelding.

(App T Ammar) Taken outwards near the 125M when blocked for a clear run and then was inclined to shift in causing runner to restrain near the finish.

Trainer T Asogan was fined RM250/- for negligence under MRA Rule 152(5)(a) for presenting GOLDEN SHOW with a non-declared Special Bit.

At the conclusion of an inquiry, App M Ekdihar, the rider of TOP S, in the presence of his Employing Trainer, SY Lim, pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under MRA Rule 44(9)(a)(ii) in that he shifted in at the 800M causing GOLDEN SHOW to check severely.
In assessing the penalty, the Stewards took into consideration App M Ekdihar’s mitigating factors, previous riding record and his submissions on penalty. He was suspended from riding in races for a period of two (2) Malaysian race days with effect from 29 May 2023 and to expire on 4 June 2023, both dates inclusive. He was advised of his Right of Appeal.
