(App S Nurwaki) Veered outwards shortly after the start to avoid runners and bumped heavily.

(App A Nazir) After being crowded at the start, raced wide throughout.

(App I Fikri) Veered outwards when inconvenienced shortly after the start, shifting ground, causing runners to steady.

RACE 2 (R055) CLASS 5b – 1200M (E lc)
1 DIAMOND SET
(App S Shazmin) Laid inwards in the straight.
3 AUTUMN BLITZ
(SU Lim) Slow into stride and hung outwards from the 1000M, racing wide.
6 MAGIC PLAYER
(J Low) Crowded shortly after the start, dipped at the 650M and then again in the straight.
9 SAND BANK
(CK Khaw) Raced wide, threw its head in the air between the 1000M and the turn into the straight. Vet Inspection: No significant finding.
10 RAINBOW FISH
(M Ewe) Whilst being loaded into its stall, struck the end of the running rail and had sustained superficial laceration on the off hind leg. Withdrawn at 12:49pm.

RACE 3 (R056) CLASS 5a – 1200M (E lc)
This race was run in heavy rain.
2 STORM TO WIN
(Y Aify) Rider broke his whip at the 200M.
4 D’GREAT SUPREME
(MM Firdaus) Rider reported his horse could not handle the track.
5 NOVA FACTOR
(M Ewe) Fractious in the stalls, examined by the Club Veterinary Surgeon and passed fit to race. Rider reminded of his obligation to ride his mounts out to the end of the race.

RACE 4 (R057) CLASS 4b – 1300M (E lc)
The State of Track was downgraded to “Yielding” prior to the running of this race.

(C Goon) Rider restrained preventatively near the 300M.
2 DRAGON RYKER
(App S Nurwaki) Stumbled on several occasions between the 1000M and into the straight.
3 HIGH COUNCIL
(App A Suriya) Dipped on several occasions between the 750M and into the straight.
4 I AM BEAUTIFUL
(App KH Chong) Rider reported that the mare shied outwards for no reason near the 650M and thereafter appeared to lose interest in racing competitively.
6 D’GREAT OCEAN
(MM Firdaus) Shifted inwards passing the 250M. Dropped his whip at the 50M (placed third). In light of his record, fined RM1000/- .

(M Ewe) Slow into stride.
10 LEO
(App S Shazmin) Raced wide in the middle stages.
11 ME NO MARSH MELLOW
(L De Souza) Rider reported that his horse could not handle the track.

RACE 5 (R058) CLASS 4b – 1300M (E lc)
This race was rescheduled to start at 2:20pm.
An objection was lodged by App KH Chong (IRONCLAD), dead heat second, against TAUBOSS (HS Gill), placed first, alleging interference over the final 125M. The Panel of Stewards upheld the objection and amended the placing to:

1st (Dead heat) – IRONCLAD (App KH Chong) & STEEL CUTTER (App S Shazmin)
3rd – TAUBOSS (HS Gill)
4th – D’GREAT DUCHESS (SU Lim)

(SU Lim) Rider’s rein became entangled with his whip over the final stages.

(HS Gill) Drifted in and bumped runner near the 125M. Objection. *(See Report). Rider reprimanded and advised to straighten more quickly.

RACE 6 (R059) CLASS 4a – 1600M (E lc)
This race was rescheduled to start at 2:55pm.
2 D’GREAT LIGHT
(App S Shazmin) Raced wide throughout and was eased down in the straight. Rider advised that the mare was inclined to stumble throughout. Vet Inspection: Lame off fore – Vet exam (2 weeks embargo)
5 LUPIN
(HS Gill) Crowded at the start, losing ground. Inclined to dip running to the 1000M. Shifted in near the 200M, crowding runner. Rider warned to exercise greater caution.
8 MENTAL
(App A Suriya) Veered outwards at the 1000M to avoid heels.
10 NORTHERN STAR
(J Low) Steadied when tightened near the 200M.

RACE 7 (R060) CLASS 3 – 1400M (E lc)
This race was rescheduled to start at 3:20pm.

(App I Fikri) Jumped awkwardly and bumped at the start. Had to be restrained over the final 10M when attempting a debatable inside passage. Rider reprimanded and advised to exercise greater caution when attempting marginal runs.

RACE 8 (R061) OPEN NOVICE (SW) – 1300M (E sc)
5 BALOR
(SU Lim) Slow to begin. In light of this - 1 Starting Stall test.
7 HEX MARK
(App H Arif) Rider dropped his whip at the 225M. Rider referred for retraining.
8 UNICORN
(J Low) Raced wide and greenly throughout.
9 CANDY RAIN
(App A Nazir) Rider advised that the mare did not handle the State of Track.

RACE 9 (R062) CLASS 4a – 1300M (E sc)
2 SUPER HERO
(CK Khaw) Raced wide in the middle stages.
3 KANTHAKA
(HK Cheng) When questioned, rider advised that although his intention had been to lead, he had ridden the gelding hard but it was reluctant to stride out and he had pushed it for the entire journey, however, it was inclined to race uncompetitively. Returned with a broken breast- plate. Vet inspection: No significant finding. In light of this – 1000M/vet for poor performance.

(R Rueven) Slipped on jumping, losing ground and slipped near the 800M.

RACE 11 (R064) CLASS 5a – 1700M (E sc)
3 BELLA VELOCE
(App R Nuqman) Rider reported that his horse did not relish the ground.
9 ENFORCE
(J Low) Raced fiercely in the early stages and dipped near the 800M.
11 GALLANT BLACK
(SU Lim) The Stewards questioned the Trainer and rider of the gelding as to the reason why it had led after the Stewards had been advised the intention was to ride mid-back. *(See Report)
Trainer SY Lim stated that he had instructed the gelding to be ridden in this fashion and was surprised when it had led so easily as the gelding did not possess gate speed.
Jockey SU Lim confirmed the instructions, however, stated that after jumping well, he had simply urged the gelding and in a very slow early pace, had found himself in the lead. He was also of the opinion that unlike some of his opponents, GALANT BLACK relished the “Yielding” nature of the track. Trainer SY Lim was advised that he was expected to instruct that GALLANT BLACK be ridden with the intention to lead in future given today’s performance.

RACE 12 (R065) CLASS 5a – 1700M (E sc)

(App S Shazmin) The Stewards opened an inquiry into App S Shazmin’s ride on the gelding and adjourned it to a date to be fixed.

(AK Lim) Rider dropped his whip at the 1500M when struck by a clod of dirt.

(KC Tham) Drifted out between the 250M and the 100M.
