(App A Nazir) From its wide barrier, was obliged to race rearward after being unable to secure a forward position.

(App M Lukman) Raced fiercely and shifted in near the 1050M, crowding runner. Crowded near the 1000M when continuing to race fiercely.

(Y Aify) Rolled in near the 1000M, crowding runner.

(WK Lee) Tightened near the 1000M and had to be restrained, losing ground.

(App H Arif) Steadied when crowded near the 1050M.

(App Clyde Leck) Reared at the start, losing ground. Trainer fined RM250/- for failing to declare cross-nose band within the prescribed time.

RACE 3 (R1321) CLASS 5 (a) – 1800M (A LONG COURSE)
2 MY GOODNESS
(App K Pavinthran) Shifted in passing the 300M, crowding runner. Trainer advised that he had instructed that the gelding be ridden to take advantage of its inside draw and given it was over the 1800M, to attempt to stride forward and taking advantageous mid-race lead and to simply ride the gelding on hands and heels in the straight as he believed it gave its best in this style of riding.

(KC Tham) Veered outwards at the start and crowded near the 300M when attempting a run.

(R Rueven) Slow into stride and was inclined to lay inwards in the straight.

(SU Lim) Vet Inspection: Respiratory distress – 1000M/vet (1 month embargo). Returned cast near fore plate.
7 HAPPY MAGIC
(M Ewe) Slow into stride and raced wide throughout. Near the 300M, was inclined to lay inwards and was bumped. When questioned, rider advised that he had been instructed to ride midfield, however, the gelding did not respond when vigourous early riding and he subsequently took the turn wide in an attempt to improve his position but the gelding showed no response in the straight.

5 BRUCE ALNAUGHTY
(J Low) When questioned, rider advised that he had been instructed to be in a handy-to-midfield position, however, running to the 1000M, the gelding had resented the kickback in its face and lost its position, becoming rearward. He further stated that the gelding was uncomfortable on the track until into the straight, were he able to progress.

(MM Firdaus) Crowded and had to be steadied near the 300M.

(App I Fikri) Laid outwards, inconveniencing runner at the 300M.

RACE 7 (R1325) CLASS 4 (a) – 1100M (A SHORT COURSE)
This race was run in rain.
7 OISIN EXPRESS

At the conclusion of an inquiry, Jockey WK Lee, the rider of OISIN EXPRESS, was found guilty of a charge of careless riding under MRA Rule 44(9)(a)(ii) for shifting in shortly after the start and crowding WHY NOT (Y Aify) which in turn shifted ground, causing GOLDEN SARDINE (S Ruzaini) to be restrained and bumped with D’GREAT BOSS (MM Firdaus).
In assessing the penalty, the Stewards took into consideration Jockey WK Lee’s mitigating factors, previous riding record and his submissions on penalty. He was suspended from riding in races for a period of two (2) Malaysian race days, to be deferred, with effect from 21 November 2022 and to expire on 27 November 2022, both dates inclusive. He was advised of his Right of Appeal (5:35pm).
