4 MAGNUM BRILLIANCE (App S Sia) Vet inspection: Bled – Bleeder’s test (Barred 3 months)
5 READY TO SMILE (App WW Cheah) Dwelt when the start was effected, losing considerable ground, and subsequently had to be ridden wide throughout. 1Starting Stall test.
Jockey Y Aify (ULURU) was examined by the Club Doctor who subsequently stood him down from his riding engagement for his remainder rides.

RACE 3 (R546) CLASS 5 (A) – 1700M (A LONG COURSE)
1 GHOST BAY (App M Ekdihar) Considerably slow to begin. 1Starting Stall test.
2 PRESTO (APP Clyde Leck) Bumped and carried outwards on two occasions inside the final 100M.
3 MICHIKAWA (KC Wong) Slow to begin, losing ground. 1Starting Stall test.
8 O’REILLY BAY (J Low) Drifted out over the final 150M, bumping runner. Rider reprimanded.

RACE 4 (R547) CLASS 4 (A) – 1400M (A LONG COURSE)
2 ICHIKA BACHIKA (J Daniel) Dwelt when the start was effected, jumped awkwardly, losing ground. 1 Starting Stall test. Raced fiercely in the early stages.
3 JOJU (App S Sia) Slow into stride.
4 RESOLUTE (S Ruzaini) Raced wide in the middle stages.
7 KENG MAK MAK (MM Firdaus) Ridden wide when leading. Rider questioned.*(See Report)
Jockey MM Firdaus stated that he believed he heard calling from his inside and thus had kept wide on the outside of the leader. The Stewards advised Jockey MM Firdaus that he would be expected to ride more competitively by maintaining a close but safe proximity with other runners.

RACE 6 (R549) CLASS 3 – 1500M (A LONG COURSE)
2 CHINA CAPTAIN (R Rueven) Dwelt when the start was effected, losing ground. 1 Starting Stall. Raced wide. Shifted in passing the 175M causing D’GREAT LIGHT to check. Objection relegated. Rider reprimanded for shifting in at this stage.
6 D’GREAT LIGHT (J Low) Checked badly at the 125M.
8 TIPPING POINT (MM Firdaus) Drifted out slightly near the 200M.
10 AGUERO JR (S Ruzaini) Rider fined RM1000/- for using his whip forward of the shoulder on three occasions.
11 BRUCE ALNAUGHTY (KC Tham) Drifted out over the final 125M.
An objection was lodged by Jockey J Low (D’GREAT LIGHT), placed fourth, against CHINA CAPTAIN (R Rueven), placed third, alleging interference at about the 150M. The Panel of Stewards upheld the objection and amended the placing to:
1st – BRUCE ALNAUGHTY (KC Tham)
2nd – HAIRY FIST (App R Nuqman)
3rd – D’GREAT LIGHT (J Low)
4th – CHINA CAPTAIN (R Rueven)

RACE 7 (R550) SUPREME A – 1600M (A LONG COURSE)
This race was rescheduled to start at 3:50pm.
4 AHTIMS KLIS (S Ruzaini) Raced wide in the middle stages.
5 ARC TRIUMPH (SU Lim) Brushed at the 250M and again at the 75M and then bumped heavily near the finish when attempting to savage BLACK THORN. Trainer advised that a repetition of the conduct would result in action being taken against the gelding.
6 SACRED EMPIRE (R Rueven) Slow into stride.
8 BLACK THORN (App M Ekdihar) Inclined to lay outwards from the 250M, brushed and bumped with ARC TRIUMPH near the finish.
An objection was lodged by Jockey SU Lim (ARC TRIUMPH), placed second, against BLACK THORN (App M Ekdihar) being declared the winner, alleging interference at about the 150M. The Panel of Stewards overruled the objection.

RACE 8 (R551) COMBINED CLASS 2 & 3 – 1100M (A SHORT COURSE)
This race was rescheduled to start at 4:20pm.
5 CONSTANT JUSTICE (SU Lim) Crowded at the start, losing ground.
6 CHINESE TEA (App M Ekdihar) Bumped when tightened on jumping. Vet inspection: Bled: Bleeder’s test (Barred 3 months)
7 CHOCANTE (KC Wong) Shifted in, crowding runners on jumping.
8 NOVA FALCON (KC Tham) Slow to begin. 1 Starting Stall test. Tended to lay inwards near the 350M.Vet inspection: No significant finding.

RACE 9 (R552) CLASS 4 (A) – 1200M (A SHORT COURSE)
1 BAHAR (App S Sia) Shifted out over the final 75M, inconveniencing runner. Rider reprimanded.
3 ROCK (J Low) Raced wide in the middle stages, taking the turn into the straight wide.
4 CHINO DINERO (J Daniel) Shifted in near the 700M with HAZARD striking its heels and losing ground. .*(See Report)
7 MARINE VANGUARD (App WW Cheah) Vet inspection: Bled: Bleeder’s test (Barred 3 months).
10 HAZARD (S Ruzaini) Crowded at the 800M, losing ground. Struck the heels of runner near the 700M and dipped, losing ground. *(See Report)
On inquiry, the Stewards ascertained that HAZARD was racing in close proximity to CHINO DINERO’s heels when that gelding shifted ground. The Stewards believed on the evidence that they could not substantiate a charge, however, reprimanded Jockey J Daniel for shifting in at this stage.

RACE 10 (R553) CLASS 4 (B) – 1200M (A SHORT COURSE)
3 SECRET AGENT (S Ruzaini) Jumped awkwardly and carried inwards near the 125M.
7 ARROGATE ACHIEVER (App A Suriya) Inconvenienced near the 400M.
10 TALENTED (HK Cheng) Clipped heels and had to be restrained at the 800M, then laid inwards in the straight, bumping runner near the 125M.
11 ELISE (KC Wong) Inquiry was opened into the apparent improved performance and adjourned to a date to be fixed.
12 INVISIBLE (App WW Cheah) Raced fiercely in the early stages.

RACE 11 (R554) CLASS 5 (A) – 1100M (A SHORT COURSE)
2 ALRALI (App S Sia) Raced wide at the turn near the 800M.
4 FRIDAY (App R Nuqman) Slow into stride.
7 SAND BANK (J Daniel) Rider questioned. *(See Report)
9 M ELEVEN (SU Lim) Raced wide in the middle stages.

Jockey J Daniel was questioned as to the reason that he did not lead. He advised that the gelding did not have its customary early pace as he believed it would lead easily. It was inclined to lift its head and he had pushed it vigourously, he could only attribute the lack of early pace to the removal of the Blinkers. Trainer S Dunderdale will be questioned related to this issue.
