RACE 1 (R043) CLASS 5(A) – 1600m (lc) GAMMA PEGASI HANDICAP
WISAKA which was down 18kgs in body weight since its last run, was checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and was passed fit to start.
The Panel of Stewards permitted App P Haris to replace App SN Shiva, as the rider of LUCK HAPPY as the latter was certified medically unfit.
FIRST PASSTHEPOST(SS Vanan) was slow to begin.
LUCK HAPPY (App P Haris) jumped away awkwardly and as a consequence his saddle shifted to the offside.
GOLD KIDS (M Ganeesh) which raced poorly, will be required to pass a test (1000M/vet) before being declared to race again.
Jockey S Anandan, the rider of MY AIM reported that his mount was not striding out freely. A post-race veterinary examination of MY AIM revealed no obvious abnormality.
The Club Veterinary Surgeon reported that LUCK HAPPY returned having cast its off fore plate.
The Panel of Stewards questioned Jockey M Ganeesh, the rider of GOLD KIDS into its poor performance today. He explained that his instructions had been to come from the back in the field and after a fair jump, GOLD KIDS was racing further back than he expected. When he commenced to ride with the whip from the 400M, GOLD KIDS failed to respond and was disappointing. Trainer SY Lim, the trainer of GOLD KIDS was also questioned as to the performance of the horse today. He stated that his instructions were mid to back and he considered that GOLD KIDS was not suited by the track conditions and the extra distance today. Their explanations were noted.

TAN’S LEGENDARY stumbled badly on jumping away, dislodging Jockey HK Cheng who was subsequently examined by the Club Medical Officer and was certified fit to fulfill his riding engagements for the day.

As there was no suitable rider available, the Panel of Stewards permitted Jockey R Rueven to replace App SN Shiva as the rider of PENDRAGON PRINCESS.
Acting on veterinary advice that NOVA VOCAL (J De Souza) was lame off hind, the Panel of Stewards ordered its withdrawal at 4.19pm. NOVA VOCAL will be required to pass a test (1000M/vet) before being declared to race again.
MACARTHUR (S Saddam) which cast its off hind plate whilst parading, had to be re-shod and was passed fit to start.
DISCRETELY RED (App P Haris) was slow to begin.
DOCTOR GINGER (M Yusri) jumped away awkwardly.
DISCRETELY RED (App P Haris) shifted out inside the 300M, resulting in PENDRAGON PRINCESS (R Rueven) having to be steadied. App P Haris, the rider of DISCRETELY RED was shown the vision of the incident and was advised to exercise greater care under similar circumstances in future.
MACARTHUR commenced to shift ground approaching the 200M and passing the 200M, laid out, resulting in WHITE CHIN (HK Cheng) having to be steadied. Jockey S Saddam, the rider of MACARTHUR was shown the vision of the incident and advised to exercise greater care under similar circumstances in future.

RACE 8 (R050) CLASS 4(A) – 1200m (sc) ANTARES HANDICAP
BACH’S AIR and HARVEYWALLBANGER, both course scratching as they had sustained bruised back and bruised near fore foot respectively, each will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.
PURPLE RAIN (S Saddam) reared when the gates were released, dislodging its rider and took no part in the race. The Panel of Stewards reviewed the start and PURPLE RAIN was deemed as a runner under MRA Rule 115. PURPLE RAIN will be required to pass two (2) starting stall tests consecutively at weekly intervals before being declared to race again. Jockey S Saddam was injured in this incident and he was subsequently exempted from weighing-in. He was examined by the Club Medical Officer and was stood down for the remainder of the day.
PLACE YOUR BET (App CT Lee) was slow to begin.

COMECATCHME and D’GREAT SONG, both course scratching as they had skin allergy and sustained a bruised back respectively, each will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.
As there was no suitable rider available, the Panel of Stewards permitted App P Haris to replace Jockey S Saddam, as the rider of YOU ARE GENIUS when the latter was stood down by the Club Medical Officer.
MASTRO GEPPETTO (C Goon) and BLACK MAMBA (App P Mogun) were examined by the Club Veterinary Surgeon behind the barriers and were passed fit to start.

FRANCES, EDDIE GRAY and ZOLVED, all course scratching as they had sustained a bruised off hip, skin infection near fore and swollen near fore fetlock respectively, each will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.
MEGUSTO which was down 31kgs in body weight since its last run, was checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and was passed fit to start.
HAPPY SIXTYSIX stood and jumped away awkwardly, unbalancing App P Haris, resulting in him being dislodged. HAPPY SIXTYSIX will be required to pass one starting stall test before being declared to race again. App P Haris was examined by the Club Medical Officer and was certified fit to continue riding.
App CT Lee, the rider of WHAT reported that his mount was making respiratory noises. A post-race veterinary examination of WHAT revealed that the gelding had returned broken-winded and as such, will be required to pass a test (1000M/vet) before being declared to race again.
