RACE 2 (R990) CLASS 5(B) – 1400m (lc) CALL A HALT HANDICAP
CHERISH which was up 15kgs in body weight since its last run, was checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and was passed fit to start.
The Panel of Stewards permitted App I Firdzriel to replace App M Lukman as the rider of YULONG DREAM as the latter was stood down by Stewards’ embargo.
Jockey M Ganeesh was fined a sum of RM500/- for negligence under MRA Rule 152(5)(a) as read with MRA Rule 107(10) for failing to make the carded weight on BIG PARIS. The Panel of Stewards permitted Jockey S Anandan to replace him.
Acting on veterinary advice that JETSTAR EAGLE (R Rueven) was lame off fore, the Panel of Stewards ordered its withdrawal at 1.44pm. The gelding will be required to pass a test (1000M & vet) before being declared to race again.

LUCK MAK MAK (KC Wong) was slow to begin.
WHAT A BOSS (SU Lim) reared when the gates were released, resulting in Jockey SU Lim striking his head on the overhead crossbar. He reported that as a consequence of the knock on his head, he was unable to ride out the gelding in his normal manner.
After the race, Jockey SU Lim was examined by the Club Medical Officer and was certified fit to continue riding for the day.
Jockey R Rueven, the rider of KING POWER reported that his mount was not striding out freely. A post-race veterinary examination of KING POWER revealed no obvious abnormality.

A post-race veterinary examination of LADY LAKSHIMI revealed that the mare had returned with respiratory distress and as such, will be required to pass a test (1000M & vet) before being declared to race again.
