Horse Runners Scheme

This scheme was implemented by the Selangor Turf Club on March 1, 2006 in order to ease the financial burden of owners and trainers who base their horses at the Selangor Turf Club.

The details of HRS:

  • Open to all eligible Selangor Turf Club based horses running in any Selangor, Perak and Penang Turf Club races.

10 or  less starters

All except 1st, 2nd, 3rd and last placing

11 or more starters

All except 1st, 2nd, 3rd and last 2 placing
 
   
 
  • For Selangor Turf Club races, RM1,000 will be paid to an owner as credit rebate when his horse qualifies. This credit rebate will be offset against the training bill charged by his trainer. The trainer in turn shall receive this credit rebate from the Club. This credit rebate shall be subject to deduction or offset against any outstanding amount owing to Selangor Turf Club.
  • For Selangor Turf Club races, RM300 will be paid to the trainer as credit rebate when his horse qualifies. This credit rebate shall be subject to deduction or offset against any outstanding amount owing to Selangor Turf Club.
  • For Perak Turf Club and Penang Turf Club races, RM500 will be paid to an owner as credit rebate when his horse qualifies. This credit rebate will be offset against the training bill charged by his trainer. The trainer in turn shall receive this credit debate from the Club. This credit rebate shall be subject to deduction or offset against any outstanding amount owing to Selangor Turf Club.
  • For Perak Turf Club and Penang Turf Club races, RM150 will be paid to the trainer as credit debate when his horse qualifies. This credit debate shall be subject to deduction or offset against any outstanding amount owing to Selangor Turf Club.
