- The official launch of the STC Equestrian and Sport Centre and the hosting of the first National Horse Show.
- Organised the first Basic Horse Management programme conducted by Wangaratta College of Tafe, Australia in collaboration with Malaysian Equine Council.

- Launch of the National Coaching Accreditation Scheme.

1996 |
- Purchase of the Percival, the first interactive horse simulator in the country.
- Organised the very first Equine Forum, bringing the participants to share and discuss the direction of the equine industry.

1997 |
- Organised the first training programme for farriers, in collaboration with the Malaysian Equine Council.
- The STC Equestrian and Sports Centre is the proud owner of two beautiful carriages – Glass Coach and Cobbin Coach from Australia and they made their first appearance during the National Horse Show ’97.

- Hosting of the South East Asian League of the World Cup for Show Jumping.

1998 |
- The start of the young athletes programme together with Malaysian Equine Council and the National Sports Council.

1999 |
- The centre also started the coaching programme for young disabled riders from the Riding for Disabled Association (RDA)
- The centre started the Combined Driving activity and subsequently conducted the first demonstration of this event.
- The first ever clinic on Judging for Jumping Equitation was organised.
- The first harness driving centre in Malaysia was opened by the Prime Minister of Malaysia.

- Combined driving was introduced as a competition category and it saw the participation of the Prime Minister and some prominent corporate figures

2001 |
- The centre was the official venue for XXI SEA Games - Equestrian Competition
|
2002 |
- The biggest display of horse carriages during the 45th Merdeka Parade.
- Organised the 1st Derby competition.

2003 |
- The first eventing competition was conducted during the STC Equestrian Championship.
