The Selangor Turf Club has in its employment approximately 230 full-time staff; divided into two categories of 105 office staff and 125 Industrial Manual Group/Foreign Workers.  On a race day, the Club hires 350 casual staff.

VACANT POSITIONS  

HR & ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Responsibilities:

  • To assist in handling full spectrum of HR functions such as staff recruitment, staff payroll, maintaining employment records, leave and claim administration, attendance management, co-ordination on training and development courses and other HR related duties;
  • To assist in handling Administrative functions such as maintain office equipments, Quarters management, staff recreation and other admin duties;
  • To assist in preparing foreign workers' work permit/visa application and renewal;
  • To handle any ad-hoc projects as and when assigned by the Management.

 

Requirements:

  • SPM/STPM/Diploma in Business Administration, Human Resources Management or equivalent;
  • At least 2 years related working experience;
  • Knowledge in Employment Act 1955 and Industrial Relations Act 1967;
  • Knowledge in X-Payroll system would be an added advantage;
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia;
  • Computer literate

  • Basic salary will commensurate with qualification and working experience
