Edylyn Goh

At the age of 17 Edylyn began pursuing her passion for horses where she began working at the Teluk Bahang equestrian club in Penang, mucking stalls, grooming and riding.

Edylyn took out an amateur jockeys licence in 2000 with the Malaysian Amateur Riding Association and in 2003 at the age of 26 went to America to pursue her career further where she obtained a Trainers licence in Kentucky, upon completion of a comprehensive course with the Kentucky Equine Management Internship Organisation.  Subsequently, Edylyn enrolled herself as a student financing herself through the training revenues and obtained an Honours Degree in Equine Management in 2005.

Edylyn spent time breaking horses at Timberlane Farm and working at the yearling sales in Keenland Lexington, Kentucky.

In the MRA circuit, Edylyn started as a B-Grade Trainer and an assistant to Trainer Evert Van Breukelen.  Edylyn was granted an A-Grade licence in April 2012 and is currently running her training operations at Selangor Turf Club.

Edylyn is very proud of the fact she is the first Malaysian women to be granted a trainers licence in America and Malaysia.
